On October 16th 2019 our chairman Paul Mertens, as official Advisor of the Governor, Assembly and Ministry of Health of West Pokot County, presented the results of a study researching the prevalence of leprosy in West Pokot County and what it implies for local leprosy control. The Minister of Health, the Public Health Committee, the PDHO board members, as well as the County Dermatologist were present.
